This is our favorite B & B in the country. Floyd is a special place, but a chance to stay at Ambrosia Farm makes it more even more special. Located on a quiet, farm road, the property includes the old farm house and two side by side newly constructed cabins decorated in shabby chic style with super comfortable beds and... More

My husband and I only needed a room for one night as we were just passing through the area. We found the Ambosia Farm's website a couple days prior to our trip and were able to book it immediately. We stayed in one of the cabins, not in the main house. We were told it was tiny in advance, and... More

Such a lovely restful place to make a quick weekend escape. My husband and I enjoyed our stay. Caroline and Craig are great hosts and the setting can't be beat! We were there at the end of the peak leaf changing and it was still quite beautiful. Also, it is a quick drive to the Blue Ridge Parkway. Don't miss... More

We so enjoyed our stay with Caroline and Craig at Ambrosia Farm that we added an extra night to our original two night stay. The farm exudes rustic character and charm with comfortable nooks to read in and quilt wall-hangings and decorations to make the visitor feel that they're ina comfy home-from-home. The convivial chat with other guests over coffee... More

I absolutely loved my visit to Ambrosia Farm Bed and Breakfast. The house was beautiful and has a long history with tons of character and charm, the grounds were beautiful and scenic, and the inn keepers, Caroline and Craig were incredibly warm and friendly. The breakfast was so delicious!-French crepes with fresh local peaches and cream, local farm eggs, and... More

This place is wonderful! We stayed in one of the supercozy cabin rooms, which have an interesting system of heating (we seriously needed it - it was late november so it was pretty cold), which uses water pipes under the concrete floor to heat up the room. It worked perfectly, the room was always warm. Everything was clean, and the... More

After touring and camping the Blue Ridge parkway, Ambrosia Farm was a welcome visit. This B&B is a beautiful historic farm house settled on a quiet property. The proprietor Carolyn, is very friendly and offered many suggestions on places to visit and restaurants in the area. Floyd, VA proved a great way station on our 5 day trip on the... More

Caroline and Craig made us fel at home for the 2 nights we spent with them. Their home and adjacent cabin are situated in a beautiful and rural setting, but just close enough to Floyd to enjoy the bluegrass jam sessions, and the wineries to sample the local wines. We especially enjoyed their fabulous breakfasts. They gave us suggestions to... More

I tagged along with friends to attend Floyd Fest and was very pleasantly surprised by this delightful oasis of a B&B. The historic house is very charming and the setting is just glorious, with a beautiful porch surrounded with flowers, hummingbirds and butterflies. The proprietors are very gracious, fun, interesting, artsy, and environmentally concerned. The breakfasts were absolutely scrumptious, healthy,... More

Ambrosia Farm is a quaint bed and breakfast in Floyd, VA. It's a few miles from the parkway and from the wineries, so be prepared to have a designated driver if you are planning to taste the local wines. The owners, Caroline and Craig, are really amazing people. They are a pleasure to talk to, and make sure you have... More
