When in town for a field trial, this is where we usually stay. The rooms are dated but clean enough. Good places to air nearby. The price was very low as well. The Mexican restaurant in the hotel is probably the best choice in Emporia.

Days Inn Emporia, Va. was satisfactory for an overnight stay. My kids enjoyed the breakfast, especially making homemade waffles with their waffle maker.

Stopped here on 11/18/2011 at about 10:30PM on our way home to NY. Desk clerk was vacuuming the lobby and appeared bothered that we interrupted her. This hotel is very worn down. I only stay overnight but I didn't feel comfortable to relax in the room. It looked like a cheap motel. The rug looked as if needed shampoo.
