The hotel is older, so there are expected issues (loud A/C, slow elevators), but the hotel is right on the "corner" so you are walking distance to many restaurants and UVA. The staff was friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and a nice size. Would definately stay there again.

We are familiar with UVA and stayed here after a day of wine tasting because we wanted to be close to restaurants and nightlife on the Corner and the UVA grounds. Of all the hotels in the area, this one and the Cavalier Inn (Best Western) are in the best location for both of these things.
