Hotel staff was very pleasant and polite. Smiles and competent. The hotel was undergoing some renovation in the lobby area, so guests wee given breakfast for free during our stay. Stayed here for one night. Attended a wedding at UVA Pavillion. Early check-in was not honored. Waited almost until 3:00 pm for check-in since we had 2 doubles. Average as far as Courtyards go. They have not had their lobby renovation yet. I would say that the hotel is in the best proximity to UVA. Many hole in the wall eateries that you can walk to which is great.

Nice accomodation without the frills; rooms were older but well kept. Breakfast was standard Marriott fare, nothing special except the price...it was free.
