Absolutely wonderful! Patty and Barry are amazing. They make you feel very comfortable and welcome. The rooms are beautiful and cozy. I recommend this Inn to all my friends and family.

We had a wonderful time, Barry & Patty took very good care of us. The rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable. Hurricane Irene might have put a damper on our travels around the area but Barry & Patty fed us, watched movies, caught up on sleep and enjoyed our time stuck inside. It was like being at home and just... More

The innkeepers are delightful, the rooms are clean, charming and comfortable, and the breakfast transcends all expectation. We will, without any doubt, return many times.

I have to admit that I was a bit skeptical about all the rave reviews and expected that my stay was going be ok but not more. Not true - it was great all around! The owners really ARE friendly and talkative (but not nosy or too chummy). The rooms are beautiful and very spacious. The best part for me... More

Two couples stayed here for a short weekend getaway from city life in Boston and New York. We couldn't have asked for anything more perfect--the inn was beautiful and historic, had very luxe bedrooms, both with incredibly comfortable beds and big soaking tubs for those sore skiing muscles or just a little relaxation. The innkeepers Patty and Barry are so... More

On our three week tour through the New England states our stay at the historic Old Brick Tavern in Townshend, Vt. in late October was a highlight. Patty and Barry are most attentive and generous B&B proprietors. We felt welcome like “visiting friends”. Also meeting Charlie (the dog) was a special and heart-opening experience. We stayed for five nights in... More

Stayed 2 nights in the Oriental Room - a spacious room with nice en-suite facilities. (The bath has to be one of the largest). With 2 large communal rooms downstairs this is a very comfortable place to spend a few days. Despite a misunderstanding on our dates, Barry and Patty were most welcoming. Mention also has to be made of... More

Barry and Patty and the most welcoming hosts at this intimate (only 2 guest rooms) B&B in the quaint town of Townshend. Accomodations and luxurious and comfortable, and a gourmet breakfast is offered each morning. The spicy corned beef hash is the best I have ever enjoyed! We will ABSOLUTELY return to this lovely spot!
