I stayed at The Commodores Inn during my tour of New England in the fall and I have to stay it was the best hotel overall of the eight I stayed in! The staff were pleasant and helpful, the room was perfectly acceptable and comfortable and the buffet was outstanding, especially the Prime Rib...delicious!

The Commodores has Quickly made there claim to tour bus bookings and this has drastically changed there priority's. Often times you can not enjoy what they have to offer with the bar, pool and hot tubs if you happen to land there on a night a tour bus has been booked, not to mention it can get rowdy.

Room was big and clean. Personel was helpful and nice. Close to skiing. Overall good experience.Great breakfast buffet with many choices. I liked to food. Very close to center of Stowe. I am writing this additional sentence because it does not exceed the 200 character requirement, i have nothing else to say that hasn't already been said.

Our Ski Club enjoyed happy hours every night in front of the fireplace. There was alway hot chocolate, tea, and coffee, available, and cookies when you returned after a day of Skiing.
