We stayed two nights (May 11-12) at the Hotel Jay with five families to experience the Pump House Waterpark, some mountain bike riding (on some sweet single track in nearby Montgomery) for the dads, running for the moms and of course lots of play time for the kids (ages 4-12). The condos were very well appointed and the kitchens stocked... More

Thanks for the feedback Tom. Can't ask for much more than rock-like sleeping children as far as we're concerned. We appreciate the note and hope you can make it back to get some more single track at some point. Thanks again Steve Wright More

Our family stayed here as my son competed in a hockey tournament. My only criticisms came before we arrived. The website has very little information of the layout of the rooms, and it was hard to get a consistent answer when I called about availability and pricing. Our family stayed in a one bedroom suite in the JayHouse which included... More

Thanks for the feedback Bloomigirl. Sorry you found the website to be a touch under informed. Having it built in Flash has been a problem and a new site, built in HTML 5.0, is on its way. I'd be curious to hear more detail about the difficulties in 'getting consistent answers' as the hockey rates we offer, which are a... More

We stayed at the Hotel Jay to take advantage of the new rooms and the 50,000SF waterpark. Here's the good news: the rooms are spacious (we opted for the 1-BR suite), well-appointed/decorated, with a fully-functional kitchen and a surprisingly comfortable murphy bed in the living area..perfect for a family of 4. The views off the back/side of the building are... More

Thanks for the feedback Klynnied. Sorry to hear that your fireplace didn't work on your April trip. Not sure we agree with trying to fix the problem (prior to moving your room) as being representative of lackluster service, but we understand at least the origins of your point. If you wander through most of the reviews here, you'll note that... More

We had originally booked a 2 night water package at a Mountainside condo, that included free access to the Pump House and the Ice Haus. The minute we ( my wife and 2 girls aged 4 and 2) walked up to the condo, I knew we had a problem. What looked like an old and rundown building on the outside,... More

Merci beaucoup Boobola. Sorry you misread the lodging identifications on our website. The Mountainside condo you reference is our entry level price point and, as such, does not have the most contemporary furnishings and appointments. Still, your mention of carpet wear and poor bedding has motivated us to speak with the homeowner (condo units are privately owned and run through... More

Great ski mountain and water park. I was disappointed with the response I received when on our way home, I realized that I had left something in the room. I called three times over the course of two days before someone actually checked into it for me. This person located it and had it mailed out immediately.

We had a great stay at the Jay Peak Resort. Our plan was to have a relaxing weekend and enjoy what the hotel had to offer. We spent a fun afternoon at the Pump House trying out all of the slides, lazy river and the surf wave. To our surprise there was an arcade there, that brought out the kids... More

This is such a wonderful place for family and friends to visit. Friends and I went on April 13-15 and we couldn't ask for better weather and ski conditions. We stayed at the new Jay Hotel which really needs many things. Mirrors in the bedroom so other people can dress and put on make-up and do their hair. More supplies... More

Thanks for the feedback and we're glad you enjoyed yourself. Truthbetold, the prices in Alice's Table, for commensurate items, are very competitive with The Jay Village Inn (which we all love here as well...). The Foundry, the restaurant inside The Hotel Jay, is actually priced a bit less than both and, Mountain Dick's Pizzeria, is priced beneath all of them.... More

The new resort and Water park make this a great family get away. We spent 5 days there and one day the weather was not that great for skiing and the kids had a blast at the water park. The resort is very nice and while there were some growing pains due to the newness and it not being quite... More

Thanks for the thoughts Cangolf. We agree, the elevators-despite being brand new-can appear slow during peak periods. We're working on that as we speak. We're happy you enjoyed your trip and hope to see you come down from Ottawa (one of our favorite areas) again. Best steve More

We recently hosted the 2nd Annual Northeast Kingdom Farm & Food Summit at the brand new Jay Conference Center. We had a great experience working with Chelsea in their Sales Department - all of the details were managed and carefully planned. The day of the event things ran really smootly. Thanks for the Conference review NEK. Thanks for the review Juneau67-Merci. And you're right, not having room directories finished (which have subsequently been placed in all rooms on campus) was an albatross we dealt with for far too long. We're glad you saw the value in the vacation-for people that travel extensively, and have seen competitive experiences to what we offer, our rates are a no-brainer.... More
