Did you hear about the auto race between the US and the USSR? NY Papers say "US Wins!" Soviet News reports "Russia comes in Second, US next to Last!" Check the date of the review! Management changed over in November 2010. The new manager used to be the cleaning woman. She has no idea of what she is doing as... More

You never know if there will hot water or if you will have heat from one day to the next. It seems the owners as well as management do not care for anything that happen's there. This a place that seem's to care mor for. people in rehab. The rooms god only know's when they were cleaned from top to... More

Most disgusting place I have ever stayed. The building is run down and will probably soon be determined unfit and unsafe by a local building inspector. The rooms have bugs, dont lock, are dirty and smell so bad that we had to go out to the store and buy air freshener! The only saving grace is that it is in... More

I have trouble believing that the reviews about this place having great hospitality or it being perfectly serviceable are genuine. I was expecting a fair, budget motel and the price was right at $73 a night. However, I've never stayed at a more disgusting motel. Bugs on the bed, in the room, and spiders crawling in the bathroom and from... More

I spent two nights at the border motel. I was visiting my Daughter who lives in Newport. This motel not only allows pets, but does not have restrictions on the size. I brought my English Mastiff along on the trip. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Clean sheets, rug, bathroom. No smells. The rug wass worn but very clean. We... More

I was traveling on my Harley in upstate Vermont when I came across this motel. The owner Gene was great in giving me a nice room a safe place to park the bike and tips on the area.... I would definitely go back for a fishing trip or another bike ride! Jim S. Florida

We spent the night before us closing on our house here and I can't much complain. It is what it is - an inexpensive motel so one shouldn't expect too much. It allows dogs (we have two so that's a plus in my book) and they charge about 10 Dollar per night for the dog and don't discriminate against larger... More
