Near the entrance to Bryce, this was a fine place to spend the night. We sat outside in the early evening and admired the wonderful view of Powell Point lit by the setting sun. Cows & sheep grazing just down the street made for a lovely cocktail hour.

Good value but staying in Tropic was a real eye opener for us. Very, very remote. It seems like maybe a couple of families own all the businesses. Would probably opt for Bryce Canyon Lodge next time. Bryce is amazing but anything outside of the park seemed hokey.

My wife and I stayed at Bybee's one night on our way to Bryce and Zion, based on a friend's recommendation. The motel is very inconspicuous and almost hard to find, though it is located right on Rt. 12, the Scenic Byway. The room was clean and everything worked. For the price we had absolutely no complaints. Also the owner/manager... More

The price was right, and the room was soooooooo clean and light and airy! We were initially given a room in the back and when I mentioned I would prefer a room in the front, we were given one. I would stay here again, and I hope to return to see BRYCE CANYON again.........so I might get the opportunity.

Stayed here when visiting Bryce Canyon National Park. This is a really great little motel. The location was excellent, the room was immaculately clean (quilts on the beds were a nice touch), the bed was comfortable, the wifi was fast and the guy at the front desk was really nice. Definitely a cut above what one would expect for the... More

We stayed here for one night in may, while visiting Bryce Canyon NP. Situated a 15 a 20 minute drive away from Bryce NP entrance it is a pretty good place to stay. When we pulled up we thought it was a very charming little motel and it proved to be so. The motel itself is pretty small, having only... More

We stayed two nights. The room is very clean, has a flat screen TV, and the wifi speed is good. It has a kettle so that we can boil water for instant coffee and tea. The only problem is, the fridge doesn't seem to work, but we don't really need to use it anyway. For the price we paid, it... More

I was a little hesitant to stay here. I emailed another person who wrote a review and they had a good experience. We stayed one night here while we saw Bryce Canyon then headed east on Rt 12. The motel is fine. 8 rooms that are clean. The ice machine is outside and a little slow, but gave us the... More

The motel is situated really well in the town of Tropic. It took us within 20 minutes to drive from the motel to watch the most beautiful sunrise at the SUNSET point of the Bryce National Park. The motel was very cozy and warm and free from any noise / interruption. The room that we stayed was a good queen... More

This was convenient to the park. We have a new room that is very clean with nice big TV, ref and me. This was a great value, totally worth it. I will definitely recommend this place and I will stay here again.
