Visited with my husband and my parents. My parents were visiting us in Utah for the first time and my husband planned the trip as a surprise for all of us. We drove down from Salt Lake and were delighted to stay at ZMR. The cabins were great and the restaurant was somewhat under construction but still delicious and awesome.... More

Our family of five stayed in an "across the street" cabin May 2011 for three nights. Cabin was very comfortable with just enough space. Frig and microwave were appreciated. Resort restaurant was delicious for both dinner and breakfast. My youngest was able to get her egg from the hen's nest and have the kitchen cook it! Staff was gracious. Loved... More

Our family of 4 (two children ages 10 and 12) had a wonderful stay this summer at the Zion Mountain Ranch. I found the location though and internet search and the reviews were spot on. We flew into Las Vegas and drove to the resort through a wonderfully scenic drive. Once at the resort we had an east check-in to... More

After reading the prior reviews, I was a little worried about staying at the ZMR however I am very glad I decided to keep my reservation. We went to Zion for Veterans Day weekend and stayed at ZMR for two nights. We stayed in the Champagne Suite Cabin. We really enjoyed staying in the cabin, it felt very homey. After... More

In late August we spent 4 days at Zion Mountain Ranch in UT. Our log cabin was nicely appointed although rustic. Exactly what we were looking for on this long driving trip west. Each morning we were greeted by a large herd of bison that resided on the property. In addition beautiful riding horses and several foals were in residence.... More

This was our last stop after 3 weeks touring the parks of the southwest. We moved almost every night and each stay was more charming than the one before, but this was the exception. This is a pretty Western setting, and the restaurant is VERY GOOD, but there seems to be a lack of concern for the guests. The staff... More

Originally planning for Zion Canyon, we found this place which is in between Zion and Bryce - so we did both... and so glad we did! Both Zion and Bryce are beautiful! And different!! I decided that if I was going away of all the city (from O.C/ L.A.) , to the wilderness, I want to stay away from Holiday... More

After a long day, we checked in at 7pm ready for a shower and hungry for a nice dinner. We were told that the restaurant was reserved for a bus of tourists that just arrived and to come back for dinner at 8:30. They were given priority because they “made a reservation.” Well, I made a reservation too - to... More

Even though we got a free upgrade to a family cabin ( we were 4 adults). The cabin was in a bad shape. It has one chiminea in the living room. And the rooms were freezing. They had a mobile heater in each room. But there the cheap version and didn't do anything. And the kitchen lacked an oven, decent... More

This ranch is just a few miles east of Zion National Park and has its own buffalo herd. The views from our cabin were wonderful. We felt like we were in the middle of nowhere, but it was still close for us to get to Zion and Bryce Canyon. Our cabin had a nice kitchenette and living room space and... More
