We pulled up and there was the cutest little rooms kinda looked like a bunch of tough sheds all in a row. The rooms were great got a good clean feeling from them. The front desk was awesome. Free breakfast can't beat it and wifi.

Hanksville is not in the middle of nowhere but it is on the edge of nowhere. What a great room for the cost----friendly and informative check-in----rooms were comfortable and clean----and wi-fi.

If you are sightseeing Capital Reef NP or the San Rafael Swell the Whispering Sands Motel in Hanksville offers a good, basic place to stay.
