We recently stayed at the Red Stone Cabins and had a very enjoyable break. As they are around 12 miles from the nearest town you should arrive there prepared with essentials - it is a long journey back !! There is a small shop which is run by the owners - with limited hours. The cabins were beautifully clean and... More

My husband and I just got back from a weekend trip down to Kodachrome Basin. We booked 2 nights at the Red Stone Cabins which are located within the state park itself. We were blown away by the beautiful views of the rock formations! So location gets an A+! Not to mention the trails are literally outside the front door.... More

We spent Xmas at the Red Stone Cabins and had a wonderful time. The cabin was basic, but super clean and had some nice touches, like a complimentary fruit basket. The owners were very friendly and helpful; they went out of their way for another guest who had car trouble during our stay. The cabins are right in the spectacular... More

We stayed for one night after a day trip to Bryce Canyon NP and I was thrilled that we had chosen to stay at Redstone Cabins in Kodachrome Basin State Park rather than the busy hotels just outside of Bryce. The entire area around Bryce is just so touristy and it was a relief to find such a lovely place... More

Loved this place. It is very secluded in the middle of nowhere. The stars are amazing at night and the scenery beautiful during the sunrise and sunset. You also don't need to pay the entrance fee to the national park if you stay there. It is at the end of a 9 mile road but the room is fully equiped... More

If you want to get away with a view... This is it. Yes, others complained that it was too secluded... I don't find that something to complain about .. It is a relatively short drive to many parks. The view is amazing; hiking trails right outside your door; very clean and comfortable. I liked the picnic table on the porch!

I found this location on the internet while researching places in the Bryce Canyon "area" that accept pets (shame on the National Parks for not doing so!). While it's about 30 minutes southeast of the Bryce entrance, it was worth the drive out. The rock formations are beautiful and the peace and quiet are awesome--it's dark, so the stars really... More

We loved our stay here. The cabin was great. We brought food and a fluffy comforter (for the amazing star gazing). The staff was friendly and our girls loved playing with their cat and kitten. All the dishes, soap, and utensils you will need are provided. They have satelite TV and a nice breakfast is provided. There was a little... More

Even though we are Utahns this was our first trip to this part of the state. Wow, what we have been missing all this time! Red Stone Cabins are a wonderful place to stay. We stayed over Labor Day weekend and had an absolutely fabulous time. The cabins are very clean and comfortable. The folks that run the place are... More

Our stay at the Red Stone Cabins was the highpoint of a trip full of western adventures! Imagine having a gorgeous park to yourselves!! The owner could not have been more helpful, the cabins are immaculate and the view: unbelievable! We can hardly wait to come back!
