We had such an amazing stay! We went down to southern utah with another family and we each had our own cabin. The cabins had microwaves, fridge, bottle water tanks, heater and a wood stove. They even gave us a bag of ice to make our beverages. Truly it was perfect, everything from the affordability, the customer service (all your... More

My husband and I, traveling with another couple, discovered this beautiful place very spontaneously searching last minute for a place to stay while hiking/biking in the Bryce Canyon area. It's quite off the beaten track, and we had some initial concerns wondering where we were going. But when we pulled up to the lodge, it was like entering a quiet... More

Tho many types of people come here it is not unusual to see a lot of 'Burning Man" fans {The pagan festival held in the Nevada desert every year} As you walk the property, the mad max type art is evident everywhere, and since it is in such a pristine natural settings the art clashes to a point of disgusting,... I found this place by accident when looking for places to stay around Escalante. The pictures were great and the pictures of the menu were wonderful on the website. The lodge is located on "hells backbone road". Quite a road! Our room was in the lodge. There are cabins and tents that are separate from the main lodge. There is... More

Quite a bit out of the way but the scenery was amazing. We just missed a "hippy retreat" of some kind that the young couple owning the property seemed to cater to. The cabins were smaller then pictured and the"restaurant" would close with no notice. Highly recommend using Breck to go on any horseback riding adventures. He was they highlight!... More

We stayed at the Boulder Mountain Guest Ranch in September 2011. We found the brochure in a restaurant and thought the place looked great. It was a total dump! Our room was very small. We could hardly get from the bed to the bathroom without running into the wall. There is no TV in the room. And we found men's... More

Beautiful views in this very rural area but not very welcoming. Never written review before but totally unimpressed for price. Arrived late our 1st night so wasn't sure how meal system worked - no written explanation or details on ranch / who owned the place nor who was who. Thought it would be more like B&B type place but charged... More

We found this place by accident while searching the internet for a hotel; we are sooo glad we did. We stay in cabin #3. Yes, no TV, no cell phone signal, no internet and that is exactly what we needed. We spend a great time as a family, hiking, talking, playing together, and enjoying each other’s company. The cabin was... More

I was a burned-out New Yorker in need of beautiful scenery, rest, exercise and tasty nourishment. What I experienced at Boulder Mountain Guest Ranch so far exceeded my expectations that I will return again and again. The food was healthy, pure and rivaled some of the best cuisine I've had in New York City. The ranch sits on over a... More

In September I was for the fourth time on the Ranch. The nature around the farm is still beautiful, but the place is getting more touristic and it`s not a secret place anymore. The wonderful old wooden tables in the dining room have disappeared and you sit on ugly black plastic tables. In the summer a futuristic tent distroies the... More
