This hotel is across from the bay, near the convention center. We were impressed by the friendly staff. They went out of their way to insure a pleasant stay. We hope to visit again next year.

We spent two months at the hotel and loved it. The manager (Alama) and staff were excellent. We enjoyed the breakfast, spa, and all the activities. Great group of people there and plan to be back next year.

Clean, safe, good value, pretty new. Fridge & microwAve in room. Rooms pretty soundproof despite a boisterous group party downstairs. Definitely top family option in mid-range hotels. Only negatives are: no direct beach access or frontage; on far end of the island. No question however, would stay here again.

Just returned from winter vacation at Holiday Inn Express, South Padre Island. As usual it was fantastic. Great staff, clean room and wonderful breakfast. After breakfast i hardly ate the rest of the day. So many other things to make my stay enjoyable but just stop in and see for yourself.
