We stayed in the Cottage at the Inn at Salado for a two nights getaway. The owner was extremely nice and friendly. He made us feel very welcoming and provided an excellent breakfast. We love the fact that the shops are walking distance. The Cottage is huge, it was clean, has a nice big oversize tub and two bathrooms. The... More

We visited the Inn at Salado for a girl's weekend. It is a nice bed and breakfast right in the heart of Salado. Shops and restaurants are within walking distance. The staff was helpful. We stayed in the Orgain suite. It is one huge room with 2 beds. We managed to sleep 4 women in the room and it didn't... More

The Inn at Salado was great. Loved the peaceful rooms. The location is great, very close to all the boutiques, and restaurants. Breakfast was a treat, loved everything they served. The Spinach Quiche was great and the coffe was just perfect. Service was nothing but smiles. Our bed was comfortable and the room was very clean and spacious, we stayed... More

We stayed in the Orgain suite, quite lovely. We sat on our private balcony which faced the street and had wine and talked after our delicious meal at the stagecoach in. It is a perfect location, we walked to dinner and back, a little dark but a nice distance. Bkf was really good and the grounds are beautiful.

I can't beleived that I found a nice peaceful place just 45 mins. away from Austin. I stay at the Kolb room with a big private balcony and rocking chair ,seat back and listen to the birds singing. Wake up with hot breakfast and the best waffles I ever have before. The Inn is very clean and green ,walkable to... More

Pretty old fashioned but I liked it a lot. Workers were nice and breakfast was really good. My friend had a wedding here and that was good even though I didn't sleep here the whole night (I was tired so I fell asleep in the couples bed) it was good I came back later in the morning and had a... This trip was for business which is not always a fun event! Rob's attention to breakfast and the easy morning conversation was just the ticket to a relaxing morning experience. If you need anything in Salado I have found all you need to do is ask! Someone will surely be able to point you in the right direction. The house... More

The Inn at Salado is located on Main Street and within walking distance of most shops and restaurants. It is best for "Girlfriend get aways", but is not a place I would choose for a romantic stay. The inn is clean, with average amenities. The breakfast was very good the first day; on the second morning we were served leftovers from... More
