“Great get-away an hour from Fort Worth”

Part of a group with four other couples from church did the over-night @ The Lodge on Lake Palo Pinto. Just an hour west of Fort Worth off I-20 but really a secluded country atmosphere. We stayed here 2 nights. The log home is so cool. Great views from the porch or the outlook area. The home is filled with quirky antiques. You access the HUGE basement from a secret passage behind a bookcase. The basement holds a bar, pool table, tv, darts, vintage board games, a card table in the wine "cellar" and a... More
