From what I saw, they recently remodeled the place. Our room was room 132 and had two double beds. The bathroom looks like it was remodeled and the toilet looked new also. Really was not that bad. They also have a continental breakfast which I was not expecting. It was not that bad really. I have 3 kids also and... More

We had two rooms and both were horrible! We, like others, noticed an awful smell in the room. It wasn't until the next morning that my mother found a rotting pizza stuffed in the desk drawer! The pizza was covered in mold and bugs! It was nasty! The whole room screamed of a bad housekeeping staff...never again!!

This Travelodge was absolutely disgusting. The two rooms we were in had a ton of grime in the sink and in the shower. The bed and carpeting had a thick, musky smell. I was so horrified that I used my own blanket as a buffer between myself and the hotel's bedding. The shower was so gross that if I had... More

Remodeled?? I think not.. The Hotel said it was recently remodeled? Maybe with a picture or two.. The hotel is off the 10 by 2 miles and more then a bit rundown. It was almost completely full with contracted workers and parking was a nightmare. I'm guessing the owner doesn't really care what the place looks like when the rooms... More

This motel was perfect for our needs. Micro, fridge, pool and comfortable beds. Breakfast was eggs, waffles, bagels, yogurt, cereal - more than we expected! And good coffee! They recommended a great Mexican restaurant too! For the price, perfect if you are just passing through. Ask for directions, as it is NOT off I-10 but more in town. 11th street... More

Had booked a room for one night and because of the flu, had to cancel the trip and the reservation. Attempted to cancel 24 hours prior to scheduled arrival date/time. Travel Lodge refused to cancel the reservation. I was told because of booking it through on line, i could not cancel. My credit card would be charged for the amount.

Stopped here while travelling from Carlsbad Caverns to Austin, TX. Good solid old school motel. Clean rooms, with fridge. Simple continental breakfast. Great pool which felt very 60s, next to old highway route. Free wifi and some decent places to eat nearby in town.

Not much to choose from in this part of Texas but this hotel was adequate. Nothing fancy but clean and got a good night's sleep. Hard to find late at night. A little overpriced for this chain which I am a member of but guess they can charge more when there are few hotels to choose from. Good breakfast with... More
