The room was small but clean and the bed was comfortable. The historic features were really fun. Hotel staff nice and helpful. Breakfast was very low end continental but the coffee was drinkable.

My family and I were very pleased with our stay at the “Faust” over the St. Patricks day and weekend. I just adored the hotel’s authentic, nostalgic decor and ambiance. This historical hotel with its “Somewhere In Time” Victorian romance is absolutely my perfect cup of tea. The entire hotel, pub and restaurant was very clean with attention to every...

The legend says this hotel used to be haunted, but the ghosts got tired of the tiny, dirty, noisy, and expensive rooms and went somewhere else where they could get a better service for the same prIce. Horrid experience.
After reading the reviews, a stop at the front desk, and drinks in the bar, we decided to stay elsewhere. However we were extremely glad that we tried the beer. The local IPA was out, so I tried Pale Ale on draft. I'm sorry to say that I did not get the name but it was one of the best...

We stayed at the Faust for 4 days for a wedding. The property is lovely with its historical antiques -you feel like you are back in old Texas. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We had a suite on the 2nd floor which was a nice size and had a microwave, decent refrigerator and coffee maker. The bed was...

Had a block of rooms for a wedding so a double was $89 per night. Small room, which is to be expected in an old hotel. The showers water was really hot at times (toilets flushing?). Soft beds which I like. Nice staff. The bar is very busy and loud,no where to park if you leave the hotel on a Sat...

Check in was less than 5 minutes. Staff was amazingly friendly. They demonstrated many of the antique pieces (1920's register, phonograph etc) and we even uncovered an old sales receipt! Ghost stories were shared...we now have our own as our comforter was taken off of us twice! The tub was HUGE and we enjoyed a very nice hot bubble bath....

I'm glad to see so many folks enjoyed their stay here. I was drawn to it because of its reasonable price, convenient location, and other favorable reviews. The room was incredibly tiny, decorated with period furniture, and looked old and tired amidst its slight nostalgic charm. The bathroom, including tiny shower, was the size of 3 phone booths, good enough...

I planned a birthday weekend for a friend, with a total of 7 of us in 4 rooms. The only room with a coffeemaker was the upgraded suite. The rooms are very small, the furnishings and carpet are old. The best part of this hotel is the location; within walking distance to several good restaurants. the second best thing is...

The hotel is easy to get to and park at (no extra charges!), and is adjacent to a pub-type of place under the same name. Kinda grabs you, but once you check in at the ornate lobby with nice tile mosaics, you take a small elevator up to even smaller rooms. My wife and I stayed at a "European-style" room...
