We have stayed at the Gruene Mansion Inn many times. The rooms are wonderfully decorated. They have gathered up antiques and decorated the rooms. We always get a room on the river and sit on the porch looking out at the river rocking in the chairs on the wooden porch.

We spent a weekend along with another couple and had a really nice time. It's perfect if you want to enjoy the dancehall next door on a Friday or Saturday. We had selected two rooms in the main building and ended up with the top floor of the mansion to ourselves-- this included the entire balcony.

We just complete our second stay and love the charming decor of each unit. Their breakfast is excellent. Everything is in walking distance...Gruene Hall is next door with entertainment daily, the Grist Mill restaurant, gift shops, antique shops and a general store with tasty treats.
