We had previously stayed at the El Paso Hotel, part of the same resort, but decided to stay at this one due to the proximity to Portaventura Park. I have recently returned from a week at Hotel Portaventura. Overall is was pretty good, it is excellent access to the park. Cannot say I was overly impressed with Hotel Portaventura but was greart for the themepark. Dining is a cattle market and poor quality, much prefered eating in the park or in Salou its self. Plenty to do around the hotel for the family.
