We were in Mexia for my grandmother's funeral. We were well taken care of, the rooms were extremely clean and no one ever complained about my noisy grandsons...they recognized that kids are kids and will sometimes get fussy and noisy. Breakfast was good and the pool was very clean. We will definitely stay here any time we are in Mexia.... More

With shortages to the water supply in Groesbeck this winter, we chose to stay in Mexia, for Christmas. The hotel was clean, staff were friendly, and I would recommend staying there again, if I were to stay in Mexia. Personally, I find Groesbeck to be a prettier and more inviting town, for the proximity, and it has newer hotels. Mexia... More

We had a very early sporting event to participate in on Saturday and needed a place to stay either in College Station/Bryan or somewhere in between there and Dallas. Prices for many, many places along the way were surprisingly high. We stumbled upon a $71 rate at this Best Western. It was well reviewed by Trip Advisor, so we thought... More

No you don't find a spa there, a limo to transport you, or a gorgeous view; however, for a brief stay there all the ammenities anyone would ever need in a clean, safe, and friendly setting. If you need anything, just ask the wonderful staff at the front desk! Pool is clean, exercise equipment works, beds are great, tv is... More

I was in Mexia, Texas the weekend of August 7,2010. My mother and I came to town for our family reunion. We had a very nice, clean room with 2 king sized beds a desk and a table to have our take out meals on. Free breakfast was very good. Waffles, sausage biscuits, juice, coffee, hard boiled eggs. There are... More

We stayed here during a motorcycle ride with a large group. The owner/manager was very friendly and accommodating. The rooms were much nicer and larger than we expected for the money. The breakfast buffet was well thought out and the dining area was bright and cheerful. Many more items than we have found at smaller hotels.

My wife and I drove from Houston to Mexia to see the Old Fort Parker. We stayed at the Best Western for one night. It was very very clean, organized and cheap. We will certainly revisit.

The Best Western was very modern and comfortable. The staff was accomodating. We enjoyed our three night stay. Elevator made loading and unloading of luggage easier. Loved the cappucino machine in breakfast area. Hope to go back someday.

I needed a place to stay that was close by to one of my company's facilities which in this case was down the road in Groesbeck, TX. Other employees visiting the site usually would stay in Waco which is about 45 minutes away. This place is just north of it and is only about 15 minutes at the most. I... More
