We had a two night stay at Hirschen and had a great time. It is a traditional German style hotel: a bit old-fashioned but very clean and everyone was very friendly & helpful. This is a nice hotel, and ideal for an overnight between Central or Southern Europe and the Channel ports. It's an easy day's drive to Zeebrugge or Calais and only just off the motorway.
