Choose the hotel as a base for a wine excursion. Rooms are standard german hotel rooms - clean but no frills. Dinner was very good and the wine list had a very good choice of local wines - excellent value for money.. Difficulty in checking out early

We stayed only two nights but really enjoyed the clean and comfortable rooms and the food was just outstanding. Real local cuisine with a nice modern edge. Staff are extremely friendly, the place feels homely and you have a fantastic base to jump on the local train to Freiburg without having to worry about driving.
Definetely worth checking out for...

Since I have friends that live very near Ihringen, I have visited there many times starting in 1991. I have eaten at Brautigam's restraurant every time I have visited. The food is not only excellent to eat, the presentation is spectacular. I was there in November, 2006. I have stayed in Brautigam's beautiful hotel that was once a train station....
