Just returned from good stay in La Plagne. Accomadation had everything u need and a local Spar next to reception. Not much nightlife in 1800 but you can get buses to the other villages. Just stayed in the Maeva aptments in La plagne 1800. Very basic but nice apts. The outdoor pool at the reception was just bliss after a day on the slopes. Had a superb Christmas 2009 experience in Belle Plagne. Village really pleasant (if a little expensive, but there's the euro for you!) and apartment was superb. A little way out of the village, but could be easily accessed by stairs, that are a bit of a challenge on the first few days (I blamed the altitude), but not an issue.... More

We also were unfortunate and had one of the car park apartments. Febuary 2007. No sleep !! drunks, delivery wagons horns. awefull

We stayed for a week in January 2006. The apartments were very central and convenient for the slopes, bars and restaurants but our room (and many others) faced onto the resort's lower car park.
