We booked through agoda and then paid 135000 for an extra bed. Bali seems to be very expensive compared to the rest of S E Asia. Rooms were big, bathrooms were ok, everything is dated but the pool is great. Location is ideal for a few days hanging out in Kuta. Breakfast is also good.

There's no reason to stay there - though, infortunately, I did this February :( So here's my review to warn the unexpecting others... Don't be fooled by the location - ok, it's just 5 minutes from the Discovery Mall and ca. 15 minutes (traffic excl.) from the airport, but there are places with better value for the money. Don't be... More

Pendawa Kuta Lovely gardens, nice swimming pool (could use cleaning more often) and an altogether delightful setting. I enjoyed the restaurant meals, the complimentary breakfast – eggs cooked to order and toast good. Toasters need replacing. Scary looking local food in warming trays. How long has it been there – days? Coffee? The usual lightly coffee flavoured hot water. Luckily,... More

Not the sort of hotel I'd normally stay at but chosen by a cheap friend. It was cheap and a central location. Nice grounds but filthy bathroom and the sheets had stains. The kids got a rash from the flacky paint in the pool. Breakfast became a bit boring after 9 days of the same - noodles rice toast or... More

we originally booked a bungalow which we thought had hot water but didn't, shower is only a hand held shower and a pot to put water in, we asked for an extra bed and got a mattress and a sheet, when it rained the roof leaked onto the mattress so we asked for an upgrade which we got and at... More

Really great little sanctuary and surrounds. All facing lovely pool. Good free wifi. Yes waterbom is noisy but at least it's not motorbike noise! Stayed at least two weeks and loved it. Breakfast is made to order when not busy and buffet when busy and is pretty good. The actual hotel restaurant is a little pricey and beer is expensive.... More

I got a basic room with (actually could be nicer) bathroom.. The room is cleaned everyday but towel is changed every other day.. Bathroom is okay, could've have been nicer if they maintain it.. Breakfast was buffet before but now they do it as ala carte.. it was just okay... The good thing is the location, just right at the... More

I'd come from the Rama Beach Resort but had to find a room at the last minute at 2 in the morning - best they could do was 500,000 [$60AUD], even though I was checking out at 9. The location is very central to Kuta shopping and the architecture and gardens are nice but the room, or at least the... More
