On the way back from Andalucia to Madrid, we decided to stop for one night in this parador. Very quiet and charming rooms, hotel centrally located. The town of Almagro is worth a visit and provides some good restaurants. Agreable garden with a pool.

Spent one night after visiting the historic town of Almagro. The town itself is interesting and well worth seeing. Our guide was very informed and made for our enjoyment. The Parador is a former monastery. It is truly charming with the most hospitable staff and manager, who gave us a thorough tour of the Parador. I highly recommend a visit.

This Parador was originally a Monastery and a beautiful building. The Town is close but not much there of significance, apart from the Plaza Mayor which is worth a look. This was a good choice for a one night stopover. The rooms were very large and up to Parador standard.

Loved the location in an old convent with lovely patios. All well restored. Pool was refreshing in the La Mancha heat. However, best to stay away from the institutional type food in the restaurant.
