We truly enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Matador. They have taken a truly wonderful old building and made it a comfortable place to stay! The breakfast was delicious and the hospitality was superb.

These ladies have taken a building that was in total shambles and turned it into a lovely B&B with so much character and charm. The breakfast was fantastic. The hotel and its owners are a welcome oasis and pleasant surprise. The atmosphere, friendliness, and food are all exceptional. My wife and I are very grateful that Hotel Matador exists and will return each time we are near Matador.

I can't say enough positive things about this place. It has been remodeled on the inside and it is shocking on how well this looks as soon as you walk in. It is a diamond out in dusty west Texas.

If you can find a reason, stay at the Hotel Matador. I stayed 3 nights. Comfy and charming rooms with good bedding and baths. The most creative and delicious breakfasts I've ever enjoyed. Sweet people with warm Western hospitality. Good value as well. I highly recommend.
