The hotel has been recently remodeled. Everything seemed new and clean. The front desk staff was very accommodating. I needed a ground level room, and they were able to provide that. I stayed for 3 nights and my only complaint was that housekeeping knocked on the door every morning, even though I had my "do not disturb" sign out.

We stopped here one night traveling I-20. They have a newer bldg, we got the older bldg. Doors on outside facing MacDonalds parking lot. A/C had gradoo (technical term for slimy looking moisture inside vent). Rather run down looking place, carpet wasn't clean (stuff seemed to blow in under ill-sealing front door). We were traveling from Michigan to visit our Daughter in Smithville, TX and this was our second night at a Best Western on this trip. We were very pleased with this Inn and will stay here again in the fall of 2009 when we return to visit again.
