This is a better than average La Quinta. Fairly new, well appointed rooms. Unlike many La Quintas, it is not next to a Denny's or any other restaurant. Complimentary breakfast. Helpful staff. Fitness room (three cardio machines). Business center. If life brings you to east Texas, this is a good choice. Restaurants are only a short drive away, but nothing...

Stayed here three nights, using it as home base for riding and photographing the Texas State Railroad during its 2012 Railfest weekend. Only a short fifteen minutes drive from the Rusk depot. Jacksonville has many more amenities than Rusk. The room was clean, with free wifi, a large flat screen TV, a comfortable king bed, 'fridge, microwave, plus included a...

The room was filty. I don't enjoy seeing dust, dirt and other customer's hair all over the room, especially the bathroom. It was very small. Barely enough room for the two queen beds. Breakfast was only served until 9a.m. compared to other hotels that have breakfast until 10am. The front desk would not even give us a cup of coffee...

I have stayed in La Quintas before. This was HORRIBLE! There was so much hair & filth behind the door of the bathroom. But the worst experience we had was at breakfast: apparently it ends at 9. We didn't know that. We started serving ourselves & the staff started picking up. We asked if they would refill anything & the...

I have stayed here twice in the last year. It is a very clean, well maintained property. The staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast is included which, at this property, included scrambles eggs plus biscuits and gravy (I am a push-over for anyone who offers me biscuits and gravy...). I would stay here again if I return to Jacksonville.
We stayed at La Quinta for a wedding and we loved it. Great staff, more amenities than most La Quinta's, a full hot breakfast with everything you could want (except hot chocolate mix. Better bring your own). The room was perfect, spotlessly clean (as was the entire property), it has an indoor pool and exercise room, a mini convenience store...

I traveled to this little nice town to see my mom and she recommended this hotel for the great price. The hotel was nice. Has comp breakfast, nice rooms, flat screen tvs, and a mini gift shop. Internet connection was great through out my entire stay.
Cons- ( I didn't have use for but others may) small work out room,...

Made reservations to stay at this facility via Hotwire. Price we paid was lower than any rate in the entire town.
That being said- this nearly new hotel is very nice. Room was spacious, everything in good shape and clean. Desk staff were helpful and nice.
The breakfast area got a bit crowded, and could have used a 2nd waffle...
