We only stayed a few days at The Houstonian but it was a good choice of hotels. The room we had was basic but very nice, clean and comfortable. All the staff were and very friendly, upbeat and nice to chat with. The grounds around the hotel are very nice and the fitness facility and outdoor running track are fantastic.... More

We had a room on the concierge level which we enjoyed very much. It is quiet and offered a lot of comfort after a long haul intl. flight on the night we arrived. Very clean and friendly, nice staff. We had a great breakfast, although we had to adapt to the strong airconditioning we were not used to being Europeans.... More

I stayed there for three days for a training course held by my company. There is a great deal of companies using this facility for the same purpose. The conference rooms are big, numerous, breakfast and lunch is served either in the empty rooms or in the corridors (breakfast only). The personnel is very attentive to provide always food and... What a great hotel! Beautifully groomed, plush, scenic grounds. The interior is also superb. The room also includes access to an absolutely world class health club with three outdoor pools and everything else you can imagine in a health club. The health club is accessible to guests, but is an invitation-only, high dollar club for the elite of Houston. if... More

Elegance and service at its best. This luxurious hotel is a great escape in the center of Houston. This is an excellent weekend retreat. Take advantage of thr Trellis Spa and beautiful grounds. State of the art fitness center and jogging trails are a great way to relax and energize.

Stayed a week at this place, very quirky.... First of all the hotel seems to be a series of buildings that were built with no consideration of being connected and then were connected, so the floors seem to be offset from each other and you have half floors, need to see it to believe it. Also the laundry service is... More

Dear mikexom, Thank you for your comments. I’m sorry that the laundry service provided to you did not meet your expectations. My research found that we successfully retrieved and delivered your laundry... More

Great location! You are very close to everything at this location, but it feels as if you are in the country. I booked (and paid) for a corner room, but was disappointed by how small and lackluster the room was. The front desk attemp[ted to charge me for breakfast in bed, but when I pointed out it was part of... More

A mini 2 night get-away for me and hubby. A mix of modern, office-building like exterior and Texas lodge interior set on beautiful grounds in a hushed, relaxing vibe with polite staff. The first thing we did to celebrate our first night in years away from our kids, was drop by the bar for a mojito. We weren’t in a... More

Concierge-level rooms include breakfast, cocktails and dessert. We felt this upgrade was worth every penny. The fitness facility is terrific. Our child thoroughly enjoyed the kids' club and was sweaty and happy when we picked him up. The heated outdoor pools were very nice and a welcome treat after a day of sight-seeing. Staff is friendly and attentive.
