The hotel has an excellent location, walking distance to the medical center and Rice University. The hotel is very clean but the carpet, bathrooms and furnishings are old; needs refurbishing. It has a large multilevel parking garage at reasonable price.

This is NOT the place to stay if you are in Houston for Business as you will be FAR from everything. The action is either at the Galleria or down-town. I would say Galleria is best if on business.
