WE stayed here just two nights,very welcoming, very comfortable. We came from England and were told that was unusual! we wanted pure texas hospitality and not La Quinta type accomadation (big chain) just not for us,this B&B was so sweet,we stayed in the Lone Star room with a claw foot bath in the room was great!

My family and I spent the weekend at the Tarlton House in Hillsboro and was a great experience.I stayed before in more than 5 different B&B around Co,AZ,Oregon and Tx and so far The Tarlton House is the best. Our family scheduled a Murder Mystery weekend at the Tarlton House in Hillsboro for a sister's surprise 60th birthday party. The rooms were beautiful; each one had a different motif. “Wonderful Stay at Tarlton House”

I stayed here on business in early December. Though this TripAdvisor information is a bit out of date (prices are $100-$150 and its been newly redone), the B&B's www site has wonderful pictures and discription.
