We reside in Harlingen, but we always stay at La Quinta, even in Stafford, TX, when we drive to Houston. The hotels always have a friendly staff and a good breakfast. They also accept pets at some locations; we have a tiny pekingese.

The layout of rooms here is dated but the property has obviously been fairly recently refurbished and is in good condition overall. Breakfast is standard LaQuinta--the usual but nothing fancy. Location is convenient to both fast food and sit down restaurants. I thought it was somewhat pricey for the location and what you get.

In town for business with several employees. The rooms were good, clean and well equipped. The location is good. It is near shopping and restaurants. We would stay here again.

I stayed at the La Quinta Harlingen on my way through. I thought it was inexpensive because of it's utilitarian location on a service road. The property is worn. My room could have been cleaner. Room was clean, not musty. Omar at the front desk was great. There is a computer in the lobby and a good-sized pool area. Very convenient, and next door to a supermarket. For $40 a night, a great value.

I recently stayed here 5 nights while on business in the Harlingen area and found the hotel to be adequate. This hotel was well located and close to many restaurants and shopping. Travelled here with 30 kkids and booked 11 rooms. Overall it was nice. The airconditioner stopped working in one room, but they fixed it right away. The pool was nice on the 90 degree weather days. The location is right next to stuff to eat and a shopping mall. i would stay here again. Overall a great experience!
