My husband and I stayed at the Garden Inn for a Valentine's day getaway. Pam, the owner, was extremely welcoming and gave us a list of suggested places to eat in the area when we arrived. We chose to stay in the Oleander Room. The bed was super comfy and well decorated. We opted to have the full breakfast, and... More

Avoid, I say avoid this place at go somewhere else. Stayed in the Rose room. The Daylounger is broken, could see the springs hanging thru the bottom. The bed was horrible. Like a cheap motel. Then my wife wanted to use some silerware and a plate to eat birthday cake and the owner acted as if we stole her silverware.... More

Lovely historic place with very nice 3 course weekend breakfast in the formal dining room, even with knife rests! This is one of the few small inns with a pool and lovely yard. On a charming block near delicious Sunflower Cafe and Mosquito Cafe. AC kept you cool during a record hot summer. Discount for patronizing the Grand Opera, which... More

We made a trip to Galveston and stayed at the Garden Inn for 3 nights. We stayed in the Oleander Room. Pam and Mike were very hospitable. They were available when we needed them, but other than that it felt as if we had the house to ourselves. Extremely relaxing; awesome beds for a very restful sleep; reading by the pool,... More

We just returned from a weekend stay at The Garden Inn on Galveston Island. This was my first Bed and Breakfast experience. The house has great charm and character. I stayed in The Rose Room and our family also had the Oleander Room. Both rooms were beautiful and comfortable. The private balcony was great for sipping my delicious coffee in... More

We chose The Garden Inn for one night prior to our cruise. After researching Galveston hotels and being shocked at the cost, I began looking at Bed and Breakfasts in the area. We are a group of six so we had the whole house to ourselves. The house and gardens are beautiful and immaculate. Pam and Mike gave us privacy... More

I booked into the Garden Inn May 16th. I split my stay for my first trip to Galveston between two places. The Garden Inn B & B for 5 nights and the Galvez for 4 (see review already posted). Galveston is Rich in Registered Historical Sites and I wanted to make sure both the places I stayed at were among... More
