The Hampton Inn is very convenient to shopping and restaurants in Fredericksburg. We got an "accessible" room, and it was huge. I would not recommend this property - the front desk has a negative Superior attitude. Fredericksburg offers many accommodation choices and Hampton Inn is not worth the money. During my stay - the parking lot was empty. Not worth the money and very disappointed. There are better, really charming places to stay in the region.

Actually 3-1/2 stars - better than average and just a touch below very good. Probably an above-average Hampton Inn. The public areas and parking are very clean and well maintained. The corridors are well lit and very clean with nice cheerful carpet. The suite was very clean, sheets crisp, towels white and crisp. Very over priced. Stayed there 12-23-2011. They said price was high because of the holidays. Must have been alot of walk up traffic, no cars in parking lot. Love Hampton Inn's, just not the price for what you get.
