The Keidel Inn & Gasthaus seemed like a perfectly idyllic place to spend a weekend with some girlfriends as we were celebrating my friend’s engagement. We booked the Gasthaus which is behind the main house. We got there and it seemed perfect. It was cute, seemed clean, we had our own kitchen. It was small and quaint but there was... More

We're always disappointed when there are rare instances of the property not being up to par. The property had just had a deep clean prior to the guests arrival and pest control thinks this stirred up the activity in the suite. We apologized repeatedly to the guests and tried to accomodate them as well. However, there were a few inaccuracies... More

The phone number listed is disconnected. Does anyone know if this house is still available? I've stayed here once before and loved it, and I'm wanting to stay there again for a girls weekend. Has anyone had success booking a stay there lately?

My girlfriends and I decided to stay at Keidel Inn (Emily's Suite) for our graduation present to ourselves. We had such a wonderful time -- the house is beautiful and historic and we loved hanging out in the spacious kitchen. Located in such a prime spot on Main Street, it was nice being able to make the short walk downtown... More

First, let me say that we had a great weekend at the Keidel Inn. I feel like I shouldn't even post this review because I don't want this little secret to get out....want to save it all for ourselves! We stayed at the guest house which is behind the main house. It was terrific....we will definitely be back soon I... More

First the pluses: the location is great, right on Main Street and within walking distance to almost everything. The house is beautiful, decorated nicely and pretty clean (only a dead bug here and there and a layer of dust on some furniture). The minuses: If you rent just the Clara suite you get no kitchen. And this is NOT a... More

This is the second time we have rented Das Keidel Inn and this experience was just as good as the first. We have a large group of family/friends that meets annually in Fredericksburg to do a wine crawl. Because our group is so large, in the past, we have had a difficult time finding restaurants to accommodate our party of... More

We had a girls weekend here. Now I guess I didn't understand how this beautiful house was going to be divied up, but let me explain. We as a groupd of 5 ladies had the main living and dining room, the 3 upstairs bedrooms and our entrance was in the front. There is a back part that someone else rented.... More

Das Keidel Inn was perfect for our 10th annual "Chulas" get together. All 10 of us stayed in the main house which was beautifully decorated and in walking distance to the shopping district. Gloria and Fred Soto are wonderful hosts and their delicious breakfasts were a real treat!!
