This is our place to stay in Fredericksburg! The rooms are always clean, the beds are very comfortable, and the owners always go out of their way to make us feel like family! They're just at the west end of main street, and convenient to everything.

Yes it was retro fabulous, but very clean and quiet. Spacious rooms, nice clean pool and plenty of places to kick up your feet on the shady grassed areas or gazebo. My husband was skeptical at first judging by the pics online but was impressed once we settled in. Great value!

The Dietzel looks like a 1960's motel from the outside, but we found it to be clean, comfortable and inexpensive on the inside. Thanks Trip Advisor for a good tip. This is a great place to stay in Fredericksburg, TX.

My mom and I stay here every year at bluebonnet time and we really like it. We like pulling right up to the door but it also has very comfortable beds and superior linens as well as modern amenities like large TVs and cable. Great value for the price and the restaurant next door is outstanding!

It's a well kept motel-within limits considering the age of the facility. Parking at the door. But, the doors because of air leak can stand a reseal.
