It's is an older building, but comes with a friendly staff who are efficient and take care of your every need. Dollar for dollar it is the best deal you will find in denton.
Even though this is an older motel, my experience at the Desert Sands was good. The room was clean and roomy and the price was great. Also, the management personnel were very friendly to do business with.
The Desert Sands Motor Inn is located near UNT's campus and is one of the least expensive hotels in Denton. However, because they are so cheap, they don't offer a lot of amenities (such as a workout center, a business center, etc.).
