Stayed here for one night in May 2012. Very nice hotel - great location to uptown, design district, and AA center. Pros: -Great bed -Clean, large rooms -Location -4PM late checkout for Diamond Hyatt members -Beautiful hotel Cons: -Valet parking = $22 a night -The top 10 floors (over half the hotel) is being renovated.

Noisy rooms on the beautiful atrium because of the bar right at the bottom. We hear every laugh, every woo hoo, every clap. I suggest getting far away from the lobby as possible. At least the peeps at the bar are having a good time. Do I hear holiday inn express anyone?

This is a huge hotel. The rooms enjoy the nice new Hyatt design though are not as spacious as the Hyatt Place rooms. They are smart, good-looking and practical.
