First time in years I haven't found anything to criticize during a hotel stay. This is obviously not a new facility, but is very well maintained and probably completely refurbished not too long ago. Everything was as it should have been during my stay. Great free breakfast, comfy bed, quiet A/C unit, and good location.

I have stayed here before and have enjoyed it.... So I returned again because it is still better maintained than the other option here of The Jameson Inn. Locals say this is the best hotel in town. Two Bests could be better. The staff was friendly and welcoming. The facility was shabby but not chic. By all appearances, Winchester has a fair amount of business travellers. An enterprising hotelier could profit from placing a clean, updated hotel that would easily be the best in town.

Breakfast included - Biscusts and Gravey, fresh fruit, Cereal, waffles and more. Free water, chips and candy. Pool area is very clean, not much shade. Staff is very accomidating and curtious.

After driving all day, my husband and I were simply looking for a place to sleep. Winchester is a small town and the choices are limited and the Best Western was convenient.
