My husband, son, and I along with another family ended our week long vacation at the smokies by spending a night at the wilderness. We were all enjoying our time UNTIL dinner. We ate at Thirsty Miners restaurant and my husband and I felt called to pay for another families meal "pay it forward". As we told our waitress this,... More

This was a great water park and hotel! Great room! Great service.... And friendly! Kids had an awesome time at water parks and so did the adults! They thought of everything when they built this! Great value for the amount of fun had by all!!! Hard to leave :(

Besides the fact that you are staying inside a waterpark...and my kids absolutely loved that, at the top of my list is the rooms are very clean and well kept. Stayed in a one bedroom suite..roomy for the five of us. Has full kitchen, 2 baths were very nice to have with teenagers. Snack bars around waterpark area were clean... More

It is a nice hotel but high price. The elevators are too fast, a person that is in a wheelchair can't get into the elevators because the doors are too fast to close. he food is pricey there, a hamburger was $9.00. The rooms are ok, we got a one bedroom suite, it has a kitchen which we used for... More

My wife and I took our two sons ages 5 and 8 to this hotel. They had a great time. The indoor and outside swimming pools are so much fun. The room was very comfortable. My wife also had meeting at the convention center and was located next door. Overall great hotel for kids.

We only stayed one night at Wilderness. The water park is very large and the lazy river is awesome. It's a great place for family trips. As a word of caution on the room, we had a kitchenette and living room; no bedroom. There is a Murphy bed and a soda sleeper. It's just not a lot of room for... More

Front desk staff were friendly and professional. We were put in a room that had a huge stain on the carpet, when we called, the front desk moved us to the area of our choice. A great recovery. Very fun water parks. Great location. Would definitely go there again.

It took two days and speaking to three different people to finally get reservations made for ONE night at the wilderness. I called beforehand, asked if Visa gift cards were accepted, they stated yes. I called the next morning to book reservations but was not able to because of problems that THEY stated was the card company's fault or the... More

We had on of the entry level rooms that was supposed to sleep 6, which it did. Beyond that there was hardly any room and three drawers in the entire room. The bathroom was so small that you had to manuever around the door to get in, and the sink was in the small hallway and appeared to be an... More

I traveled on business and took the family. First off, this place is huge- and your walk to your room could be as well. I used MyTracks to calculate 665 feet from the front door to my room. In a place with three waterparks, this is a blessing and a curse. If you get a far room your away from... More
