If you are a serious ghost hunter like my wife and I are this place is a great place to be. The Inn is definitely haunted as is the little church across the road- owned by the same people. Best to come on a weekday in the offseason and hope there arent many people staying here. The owners are awesome... More

Stayed the night with several family members in Oct 2011. Our stay included dinner, show and a night's stay. I have been to the halloween show and enjoyed it the 1st time but this being the 3rd time, I was hoping for a different halloween show (the actors do a good job tho). The food is good but would be... This is a nice quiet place, no doubt an excellent couples retreat. Their meals are exceptional and the staff are among the nicest I've met in my travels. If you want constant attention and noise, this is not the place for you. But if rest, beautiful scenery, and outstanding food is more your style then you really should visit the... More

I have visited The Thomas House many times, often with friends or family, sometimes alone for a relaxing retreat. The owners are very nice people with a friendly interest in their guests, The food is excellent and the chef does not hesitate to share his recipes or cookiing tips. Once I happened to be there on my birthday, and they... More

We booked at the Thomas House, after being told it was a nice place to stay. While trying to relax while breathing in the musty air, we could hear other guests loud converstations through the paper thin walls. This hotel afforded us no privacy for what we had planned to be a romantic weekend getaway. The hosts were nowhere to... More

We were inspecting local inns for a group's visit later in spring. As we stepped over the threshold of the front door, we landed on hundreds of swarming winged ants under our feet. Assuming the innkeepers were not aware, we sought them out to inform them of the infestation. We were not overly concerned about the ant problem (after all,... More
