Plenty to see, and plenty of trails to walk. We went in the Spring and I can only imagine during the summer it's even better if you can walk to the bases to get in the water and enjoy those trails. Very pretty, and very good for the waterfall watcher as there are various falls. We will be going back... More

This is a no frills type of vacation. But the trails are good and plentiful. If you like photographing nature, this is the place. It is a good day trip from Nashville too. There are trails for all types, easy to hard. There are cabins, camping sites and a hotel.

A very large FREE park with cascades, gorges, waterfalls, streams, a swing bridge, may hiking trails. They say that Fall Creek Falls, at 256 feet, is the highest waterfall in the eastern United States. There is a campground, an Inn, horse back riding, golf and more. We didn't get to see everything due to lack of time so we will... More

Another stay at Falls Creek Falls and like a previous trip we had our dog because our sitter was unavailable. The Inn as it's called has not changed. Our room was very clean, roomy with a little balcony overlooking the lake. We took long quiet strolls with our dog and family. The area is great for hiking, enjoying nature. We... More

Our family of 3 with an 11 year old stayed in the Fisherman Cabins once again - we had not been here in ~8 years. We found the fisherman cabins to be in slightly better shape than our prior visit - it looked like the furnishings had been updated, perhaps the flooring as well. There is just one shower downstairs... More

For the past three years we have camped at Fall Creek Falls. Our nephews (ages 4,6, and 7) love it! The camping lots are spacious and well placed. We have camped in space 201, in area D. This location was PERFECT when you have three little boys running around. Even our last two camping areas were great (space 1 in... More

FCF is one of the premier hiking trails, waterfalls, and overall geological wonders around, probably the most unique in Tennessee. Falls, are beautiful, trails well kept, golfing - pretty good for a state park in Tennessee. The disappointment is that while the natural surroundings are magnificent, the Inn and restaurant are at best mediocre. The rooms are cramped white concrete... More

We were scared of what we might find. The pictures online for the fishermens cabins are extremely rustic. They actually werent that bad and it was nice to be over the water. The rooms are super basic and there is only one shower. Having the bathroom between the bedrooms upstairs helped alittle, but was also distracting if someone had to... More

We stayed at the Fall Creek Falls State Park Inn over Valentines Day weekend. The hotel was perfectly fine, especially for the price and convenience to the park and trails. Our room was clean and comfortable. The hotel is built right up against the lake, and apparently all the rooms are lake view. I imagine you could go fishing right... More

Several waterfalls, nice well maintained trails lots of deer. Staff was friendly and informative. Spend the day and enjoy it all. Make sure you take the scenic drive from the falls parking lot if your not a big hiker. If you like to hike this is also the trailhead for a fes mederate trails.
