Our first stay in a Microtel and we were very pleased. Conveniently located several miles out of downtown we found it to be a very good hotel. The staff was friendly and the room was very clean with basic amenities and standard budget continental breakfast.

I've liked Microtel for years. However they don't seem to be keeping up the quality. Sure the rooms are small, but that is fine. I just wish the walls had more sound insulation. Generally they are a good deal for a clean basic room. Breakfasts are plain, but again look at the price.
