We have been fortunate to stay in some fine hotels across the world and I rate The Hermitage most highly. Lovely rooms, great service and an ambience that is friendly, refined but not stuffy. Highly recommended

For a Nashville get-away, if you can splurge, look no further. Walking distance to all the main Downtown attractions and numerous great restaurants, this hotel treats you like royalty. I'm from California and have only been to Nashville two times, but in my opinion, there is no where else to stay than the Hermitage. To be fair, it isn't cheap, but it is worth it. We loved our time at the Hermitage! But the Oak Bar downstairs is not to be missed. It harkens back to a day of old. The atmosphere is good and the drinks are delicious. Don't miss the men's bathroom. With it's art deco feel and shoe shine stand in the middle. The ladies room was fine too!

. . at the Hermitage Hotel and we loved it! We were lucky to be in room 714 facing the wonderful view of the Capital building. It was beautifully appointed, spacious and quiet. The best bathtub I have ever soaked in. Absolutely worth the price.
