Totally agree with the other reviews on Carawah Ridge. Our first stay at a bed and breakfast and they've left others a lot to live up to. Sam is a great host and the aparments are well appointed with everything you may need for a peacful relaxing weekend away. The property is in a great location, a quick car ride... More

Have just enjoyed a wonderful weekend at Carawah Ridge. Located in a most picturesque spot just outside Myrtleford, this wonderful property boasts beautifully manicured garden, lovingly tendered to by Sam (and Manfred doesn’t mind his impressive veggie garden either) with two self-contained apartments. Ours was extremely comfortable and perfectly decked out as mentioned in other reviews - absolutely nothing was... More

Thank you so much for your lovely comments. It makes all our efforts so worth while when we hear you enjoyed your Carawah Ridge experience so much. That is indeed our only goal; to have our guests have a truly memorable time and hopefully consider a return visit maybe, who knows... with friends to share a little Carawah magic! Sam... More

What a lovely way to wake up in the serenity of Carawah Ridge. It was such a relaxing stay, that my partner and I were content hanging in the apartment, though we did drag ourselves out and visited the beautiful town of Bright. The apartment was beautiful and warm......great to come back to, since it was a cold and rainy... More

Excellent place. Two rooms each suitable only for couples, which means it is exceptionally peaceful. The garden is beautiful with many nooks with seats for reading or just enjoying the peace. A swimming pool. Sam and Manfred are lovely hosts, very concerned about leaving you alone but always available. On a sloping block of land, the garden room is under... More

This place was fantastic... Located about 7km outside of Myrtleford, the loudest noise we heard was a loud cow or goat in a neighbouring property. The apartment we stayed in was very spacious (for 2 people), thoughtfully appointed and full of little touches for maximum comfort - like stocking the fridge with bottles from local wineries so we could try... We stayed here for two nights as part of a very quick trip from Melbourne to the High Country. Forget the 4 star rating. This was 5 star, truly. This was absolutely superb from start to finish, with just one tiny glitch I will finish with. Sam and her husband have this huge property on about 6 acres I think... More

Thanks for your wonderful review. Please note that we have just installed a huge solar hotwater system which is mains pressure and the shower pressure is now magnificent. Sorry Alan getting a plumber when we wanted one proved difficult so it took longer to install than it should have. Come back and see us again. Sam More
