Almost a transcendental experience in the mudbrick cottages high on the hill, overlooking the Lake and backing on to the forest. What a nice quiet little getaway with parrots & bushrats picking up their daily seeds on the terrace. We saw our first wild koala in the nearby Croajingolong NP too. Clean and environmentally friendly. Recommended.

A wonderfull and peacefull place with 2 lovely hosts, the spacious and nicely decorated flats are clean and suitable for singles, couples or families. And for a very reasonable price. The flats are surrounded by a beautifull forrest that attracts very diverse and interesting wildlife. For me one of the highlights of my 5 weeks trip in Australia. Enjoy!

We had a beautiful view of the inlet through the large glass windows and were fascinated by the antics of the parakeets, galahs, parrots and finches that squabbled on the bird table. We loved our stay in Mallacoota with Peter and Margaret. The flats are a wonderful and quiet place amidst nature. There are nice little gardens in front of the flats with beautiful flowers and many, many parrots. You can just sit there, have a BBQ and enjoy the lake view. One of our highlights in Australia!

Just loved staying at the Mud Brick Flats, although with all the rain at the time, I just don't think they can be made of mud! Very cosy and comfortable. And you couldn't wish for better hosts in Margaret and Peter, they made us so welcome.
