Halls Gap and The Grampians are a glorious part of the world. This cottage had everything we required. I was just a little annoyed that it is advertised as one bedroom when it is really open plan and a studio layout.

Don't be fooled by the description or by the tricky photography. These cottages are described as one-bedroom but are open plan studio apartments with the bed in the same room as the lounge room. We found Hetherlie Cottages to be comfortable, clean, and lovely to stay in. Surrounded by beautiful quiet bushlands, but not too far from the main town centre. My partner and i had a wonderful stay at heatherlie cottages, it was clean, quiet, well equipt and relaxing. The bed was soo comfortable and the massive spa bath was soo relaxing. Everything was wonderful and we'll be going back.

If you want a quiet hideaway,far from the madding crowd and kids, then this is it. A place to relax after lots of walking and fresh air. The kangaroos and birds are very friendly. Just be careful of the value and quality with the restaurants but the cafes were great. Rosie and Col

The moment we arrived at our cottage, we knew we were in for a lovely stay away from the pressures of life. Well located, comfortable cottage a short walk from the centre of Halls Gap. Cottage contained everything we needed for self catering. Heating very effective for the cold conditions we experienced. Surrounded by wildlife, birds of all kinds in a natural environment. Situated to access all local beauty spots.

Great 2 person cottage with all you would need for a longer stay, fully equipped kitchen, dishwasher, laundry Big screen TV, DVD, BBQ etc. We stayed 3 nights, BBQ's for breaky, walked into the town (7minutes) for dinner each night.
