“1980's accomadation”

No hot water on arrival, had to wait for 1 hour till someone switched it on. Had been revamped since last there but still very 80's accomadation.

From our two month Australian holiday The motel and adjoining restaurant were constructed to be a weekend destination from Melbourne. Not sure where to start... Check in area dark & dinghy. Room had stained carpets & ripped curtains. All the woodwork needed a coat of 'something' be it paint or whatever. There was a small gap around the ceiling where black specs kept falling from. The windows needed cleaning . In fact the whole room could do with a major... More

For me this was a 'drive by' choice. I was in the area for business, it was evening and I needed somewhere to stay. The GPS said this was one of the closest. The external appearance and location of the closest motel lead to drive on to this one. The rooms are more cabin like than a typical motel room.... More
