Stayed one night with friends; excellent dinner, - the welsh mussels were superb - and the food and wine excellent value (There seems to be a very efficient importer of Argentinian wine in the area as all the local pubs have it!) We had a comfortable stay here. It is in a great location for exploring the area.

We stopped here for lunch. We arrived around 1p.m. When we arrived, it was pretty empty so it seemed like we had the restaurant to ourselves. Staff were friendly and gave good recommendations. Booked a table for 7.30pm. Got there to be told there was a 20m delay on the kitchen so were given menus to look at in the shabby 'snug' with our drinks. There were many tables full - and no one eating so that should have raised the alarm really - another couple were looking at menus in the snug... More

We booked in a hurry but we were delighted with the location, the room and the extensive menu. Staff made us very welcome. Breakfast was excellent. A really good inn to visit on our trip out to North Wales
